An empty Garbage Truck weighs 25,000 – 35,000 pounds and can hold 16,000 – 20,000 more pounds of trash.
This has significant impact on where we can go to collect trash. Containers set in lawns or on grassy areas cannot be serviced to avoid property damage. We will be back when it dries up. We recommend that your containers be placed on hard services such as packed gravel drives or concrete with approaches the same. If you can move your container prior to your service day, we are more likely to ensure collection.
